Maggie Fleming, Chartered Financial Planner And Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) Specialising In Tax
Maggie Fleming is a Chartered Financial Planner, an associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and is an associate of the Personal Finance Society (APFS). She is a fully qualified STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) practitioner and is an experienced and highly-qualified Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). At Isis Financial Planners she specialises in providing tax and trusts advice to our clients.
After 11 years as a specialist at Arthur Andersen she joined Rainbow Finance Limited as an IFA, specialising in personal tax planning and opening Rainbow's Brighton office. She now heads up Isis' office in Brighton.
She is a well-known figure in Brighton and, until recently, wrote for the Daily Telegraph on property tax issues. She has also written for various professional journals and has spoken many times on local radio, as well as on Radio 4's MoneyBox Live. She has also appeared on the BBC's Breakfast program talking about the UK's Civil Partnership Rights.
Maggie has served on several Chartered Institute of Taxation sub-committees since 2005.
In 2005, she took part in a CIOT-sponsored debate on taxation alongside Vince Cable and other leading economists and tax experts.
